My journey toward my American dream started in 2015. After I passed my NCLEX exam, one of the Health Carousel recruiters called me asking if I wanted to be a part of their growing healthcare professionals family. I heard good feedback from friends of friends regarding this agency so that's why I agreed. I didn't expect it to come sooner; hands down to all the agents who helped me through this journey. I would like to thank Karen for her patience, effort, and time she spent reminding me to submit all my requirements on time. My deepest gratitude to all the Health Carousel Philippines staff for giving me the chance to fulfill this once in a lifetime opportunity. I would like to encourage my fellow nurses to don't stop dreaming. Everything will happen in God's perfect time.

To my HC/PPUSA family, thank you very much for fulfilling my American dream. Despite the unexpected delays, sleepless nights and the pandemic situation, we still pulled it off and reached our main goal. To my coordinator Stephanie, thanks for being patient and accommodating in answering all my inquiries and requests. And to my fellow nurses, never lose hope, keep on praying and continue to trust the process.

I had a tedious journey of ups and downs to the point of me almost losing hope and giving up. But with constant prayers and proper guidance from Health Carousel team, my American dream is finally within my reach. This journey taught me to become patient and to trust the process. . . because nothing is impossible as long as you put your heart in it.

I can say that the application process went by smoothly. I was assigned to very accommodating advisors. They were able to help me from the start of the application until now that I am preparing for deployment. They were very eager to offer help, both in the technicalities of the application, and in terms of offering reassurances, encouragement, and push that I needed to get through the process. Throughout the experience I learned the value of patience and faith. It may be a cliche, but I have grasped the reality that these two characteristics are very important. I have encountered several delays in the process and the key is be patient, while at the same time having faith that things will fall into place at the right time.

To my fellow nurses, never give up on your dreams. Trust the process because Health Carousel will never turn their back on you now matter how rough the road is. Never fail to pray and work hard. Think that you are doing this for more lives to save and a better life ahead.

Throughout my journey with PassportUSA, my advisor has been quite helpful and thoughtful in addressing my questions and peculiarity. I first joined Health Carousel in 2006, and after passing all the screening procedures, I was accepted. However, after passing NCLEX-RN, retrogression came and my petition was not pushed through. I thought it would be the end of my American dream. In December 2014, I visited the PassportUSA website and submitted my application online. Unexpectedly, PassportUSA called me in January 2015 and asked me if I still wanted to go to the US and without hesitation I signed the contract with Health Carousel. In the same year I got my priority date and started to comply with the necessary requirements needed for my visa application. My warmest appreciations to Karen, Roda and Ela for their support from the start of my application until the preparation of my departure to the US. I know many nurses are aspiring to work as a registered nurse in the US. With these, all I can say is 'Good things come to those who patiently wait and persevere'.

My journey started in November 2014 when I signed the contract with Health Carousel. The whole process takes time but it's worth the wait. When I signed the contract with Health Carousel, I knew it was my first step in reaching my American Dream and I was confident that Health Carousel can be of big help in reaching my goal. What I really love about Health Carousel is that they would really give me specific instructions for every stage of my application which is very helpful. If I would need assurance, the advisors and managers would give it to me and find ways to help me in any way that they can.
