It was fulfilling and challenging at the same time considering the hectic schedule I had with regard to rearing my kids and all the embassy requirements. I was able to enhance my knowledge, analysis, patients in completing the program. It was comprehensive, easily understandable, and very informative. After taking the training, I would say that I am now confident in making a transition to the US Healthcare Delivery System

When I was told to have a transition program online, I was so stressed about how and where to start on the many modules needed to be accomplished in a specific period of weeks. I was even afraid that I may not be able to finish it on due date because it was composed of a series of lessons to study, pre and post tests and real-life scenarios to answer. Through the continuous guidance of a virtual coach, who patiently answered all my queries throughout the program and constantly gave encouraging words, I was able to complete it on time. The program was very informative and interactive. I have learned how to be a better professional nurse in dealing with my superiors, co-workers, clients, and relatives in terms of communication and giving care. In addition, I have not only recapped basic nursing knowledge but foster my skills in clinical practice as well. I believe that nurses must undergo this transition program to be more efficient and globally competitive in patient care. Lastly, I would like to thank HCLL for giving me the opportunity to take this transition to practice program because I was able to familiarize with the clinical setting in the US and equipped with the necessary knowledge, values, attitudes, and skills to adapt smoothly in the US Healthcare delivery system.

I joined Health Carousel Philippines in 2014. I am very thankful to our Almighty God for making Health Carousel an instrument in fulfilling my American dream. It was indeed a smooth sailing process since day one, from getting my priority date, all the way through to my departure date. Little did I know about priority dates, U.S. immigration, and how/where to file applications. It's just a blessing in disguise that my former colleagues were talking about it and I gained interest. I was advised about Health Carousel. Eventually, I walked into their office to inquire, I was fascinated with their PassportUSA Program so I signed in February 2016. My first Processing Associate was Karen, and then I was endorsed to Ella and Amelyn. They were all efficient, professional and hardworking Processing Associates and International Deployment Advocates, facilitating my application as fast and as hassle-free as possible. Though there were roadblock and minor delays, you are assured that your application is being well-attended to by them. Health Carousel is a reliable, strong bridge in reaching and achieving my American Dream. To my fellow nurses aspiring to work in the US, don't just aspire or imagine. You have to act, make sacrifices if possible, work hard and you will certainly make it.

I was one of the retrogression babies, along with my other siblings who are also nurses. Health Carousel has been a huge help for people like us who almost lost hope in pursuing our dreams and life goals. Four years ago, I was seeking God and his will of where he can use me for his purpose and glory. It just so happened that my father's friend heard about PassportUSA and he gave us their recruiter email address. I emailed my application and started my faith and journey to the U.S. with Health Carousel. I knew that I would have to wait for years so I asked God to use the waiting time for preparation and character building. He did answer through the processing requirements, examinations to take, additional studies, circumstances and sacrifices. Health Carousel has diligently guided me through the process. The recruitment process was straight forward. When I emailed my first inquiry in 2015 regarding my application, the response that I received was quick. I was encouraged to sign up after learning the ease of applying. Documents were all sent online; my initial interview was done through phone; all correspondence was carried out through emails. The Health Carousel application process is superb. My processing associate always makes sure that I am updated with the priority date monthly jump and is often proactive to let me know about any other paperwork or requirements that needs to be submitted. To all aspiring RNs: don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and be ready to conquer your fears.

The online training program provided by Health Carousel is beneficial to keep me abreast with the current trends and setting in Nursing practice. It consists of clinical simulation and educational courses, a helpful tool for me to become more competent in the timely provision of quality, safe patient care. Furthermore, I was able to at least have an overview of how the US Healthcare Delivery System works. Initially, I was overwhelmed by the number of coursework that needs to be accomplished. But I was able to finish it in a short period because I find it very engaging, informative, concise and interactive. It is indeed highly commendable. Hence, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to HCLLC for helping me to become the best nurse that I could be, for preparing me to transition successfully to the US, and for ensuring that I get the necessary education and training much to my professional advancement.
