The processing of my papers was efficiently done. I was lucky enough to be accepted in my first facility interview. Liza was very accommodating from my contract signing to my final deployment date.

It was a grateful experience and there are no exact words I can ever use to express how really thankful I am with Health Carousel, especially with my International Deployment Advisor, Irma, because she is so fast and very diligent with her job. I joined Health Carousel Philippines in July 2016. I am grateful to be chosen and to sign a contract with them. From day one, I already felt their warmth and support. When I decided to pursue my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, I always had the goal of being able to work in the United States of America. So right after graduation, I prepared myself. I took and passed NCLEX in September 2008. Thanks to the persistence and encouragement of my friends Happee and Jeffrey (they also signed up with Health Carousel/PassportUSA), to continue with my American dream, I realized the process of my application was quite smooth. PassportUSA has been very accommodating and constantly remind me of my required documents. I am thankful and grateful for the opportunity given to me and rest assure that I will perform my duties and responsibilities to the best of my abilities. I joined the Health Carousel family in December 2015 to pursue my American dream. The challenges in the process prepared me for what is to come. My advisors were very nice and helpful in answering my questions. They encouraged me to work hard and to never give up until I achieved my goals as an international nurse. Also, every step of the process was hassle-free because they always assisted me and gave me clear instructions, which I feel very grateful for. My message to future nurses: dream big, believe in yourself, work hard, and surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you.

I signed up with Health Carousel in August 2016. I was really excited to pursue my dream to travel and live in the US so I gave it a try. My expectations were met because Health Carousel is very supportive from day one of sign up until I got my US visa. I t was a long and rigorous journey but my International Deployment Advocates, Jeanne Carla and Irma, were responsive to my queries and were detailed in giving me instructions. Health Carousel is also very helpful as they continuously assist their healthcare professionals to adjust to U.S. life. I share this great joy with other nursing professionals like me and encourage them that with perseverance, the right mindset, and faith in the Almighty that we will able to achieve our dreams.

I signed a contract in September 2016 and got a priority date in November 2016. Before, I thought the American dream is just a dream because of so many factors such as retrogression and lack of knowledge on how the process would be. But this dream has now become a reality. I was not expecting it as this fast. Although I was residing in the UAE, it went smoothly because of the constant communication with my International Deployment Advocate via emails and phone calls which I really appreciated. On behalf of my family, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Health Carousel. Especially to Roda for taking care of my license endorsement, and most of all to my International Deployment Advocate, Raissa, who is very responsive and guided me in every step of the process. Above all, thank you Lord for giving me and my family this blessing.

Even though it has taken 1. 5 years from signing the contract with PassportUSA to touching American soil, it doesn't seem like it has taken very long at all to get to the USA! There have been a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that PassportUSA has not been able to handle. They have been helpful and professional all the way through the process. Julia and Emma have especially been so helpful over the last year and a half; even when I was working as an RN and traveling around Australia. They were always available to talk and assist me through the process. I have had such a positive experience with PassportUSA and I am excited to start this next chapter. I am thankful for the many provisions by God and answers to prayer. It has taken a lot to get to this point, but now I am living the 'American Dream' and I am finally stateside. It is a huge blessing to be here as I am now living in the same country as my significant other (who is American) and he and I can finally make long-term plans for our future. He has been very supportive along with my parents in making this dream a reality. I would encourage anyone interested in pursuing the same dream of living in America as a healthcare professional to not give up and keep going. It is totally worth it.
