What Our Nurses Say About Us

My IPA, Sandi, helped monitor my progress in the PassportUSA Road to IELTS program. She always cared about my progress and let me acknowledge it. We keep in touch constantly. She gave me a lot of support. My advice to other candidates wishing to pass IELTS is to make time to study. Focus on your weak areas and work hard to improve them. Keep in faith that you will overcome the barriers and finally get the ideal goal. Confidence is the key to success. Thank you.

I am very happy to have passed the IELTS! I'm excited and relieved. I am grateful for all the help I received during this journey! The Road to IELTS program, Official IELTS Predictive Assessments, and the practice speaking sessions were really helpful! Thank you PassportUSA team! I'd like to extend a special thanks to Brooks, Kathy, and Julia! I recommend others to make a study calendar, study a little bit every day, use all the resources PassportUSA has to offer, and keep a positive attitude because you can do it too!

Since English is not my native language, I seldom communicated with people in my country in English. Luckily I was enrolled in the PassportUSA Road to IELTS program. With the help of my IPA, Julia, she assisted me all throughout my exam preparation. She considered different factors on how I can effectively comply with my study schedule with the aim of hitting the target band score. She gave me options for which kind of review would be effective for me, like enrolling in a in-person class in my city or taking an online course to fit with my personal schedule. PassportUSA has the best online program. Their IPAs are there to support you to stay on track with your studying, and you can easily talk to them as a friend to whom you can trust your dreams with. They even have their own in-house IELTS Manager that will grade your writing tasks and provide proper feedback on how to improve. They gave me confidence as my examination day approached. After the exam, I was so happy to inform PassportUSA that while I reached the target band score, I also exceeded the required band score! Thank you!

The Clinical Training Program has been helpful in preparing nurses in their transition to work in the US Healthcare system. The modules were designed to enable us, nurses, to develop our critical thinking skills, independent functions, and therapeutic communication which will make us competent, perplexed and empathetic to our clients. I will surely recommend this to my fellow nurses who want to be globally ready. Overall, it had been a wonderful experience doing this online class. Thank you

I am Cresta and I joined Health Carousel in June 2016. When I joined Health Carousel, I already had a valid NCLEX, IELTS and VisaScreen. However, I was still lost and confused as to how I could process my papers and I didn't know where to start. So when a colleague of mine referred me to Health Carousel, I was very thankful. Health Carousel has made the process so much easier. I would also like to thank my advisors, Lenci and Stephanie, for being patient with me and helping me throughout this journey. Now what I want to say to my fellow applicants is just to stay patient and always be optimistic.

It's quite a challenge since I had my last review and exam 2 years ago when I took the NCLEX but the lessons I learned all throughout the training is beneficial and would help me a lot during my transition in the US. Cultural diversity. As a nurse, we need to be open-minded and empathetic to our clients since we are dealing with different types of people every day. Also, being patient when they are in a struggle or in a difficult situation because it is the time when they need the most help and as a nurse, we are there to offer our support. I would recommend the training because I have been practicing nursing for quite some time its refresher course is really helpful. It improves your knowledge about the basic foundations of nursing and would enhance your skills in performing procedures.

The Practice-to-transition training is helpful as the test themselves are applicable to the actual and current nursing practice. Each module is very well discussed and narrated. I enjoyed learning the clinical simulation but also feel anxious knowing that if I made a detrimental decision, my patient will deteriorate and my session will be cut off, thus I will need to take the exam again. It took me 2 months to complete the program but had I managed my time wisely, I would have been able to complete it earlier than the given time. So it is really important to set a study time each week for a certain module. I highly recommend the training program to other candidates for it will offer them great learning experience online. Their website system is working well and it also worked on my iPhone which is more convenient than using the laptop. The training helps me gain more confidence in dealing with different scenarios and cases mainly on adult medical and surgical management which I am not currently exposed. It was a nice experience too that my coach was understanding who really motivated me. The lessons I have learned will definitely guide me in rendering safe and quality patient care. Thank you

I joined Health Carousel on September 14, 2014. The whole process of the application is like riding a carousel. There are ups and downs but you are confident that everything is smooth and a clear destination is certain. I am very thankful to Health Carousel for the excellent services they rendered and for inspiring nurses to never let go of their American dream. I would like to commend Kim, Roda, Connie, and all the staff of Health Carousel for doing a great job especially for their patience in reminding me of my documents and for the tips they provided me. My message to my fellow nurses is that everybody has an opportunity but you just have to work hard and have patience because some of the process may be timely, but everything will fall into place afterwards.

I've been practicing Nursing for almost 9 years in the ER-OBS GYNE and currently in the medical field. I am confident that I will be able to easily adapt in the US by the aid of the clinical training because this tool is equipped with the nursing knowledge that will help me in my transition to the US. With the Clinical Training program, I was able to refresh myself with the basics of nursing and I find simulation videos interesting and a very helpful tool in the clinical set-up.

I consider all of the learning topics beneficial. I now have a better understanding of communication skills for the U.S. It will enhance the quality of care that is expected of me. I truly value the quality and standard of care that HealthStream taught me. It prepares me to give the utmost care that is safe and beneficial to my patients. Secondly, what I learned in HealthStream will allow me to interact well with patients and colleagues when I transition to nursing in the U.S. The system is very useful and easy to understand.

My experience with iNurse and Health Carousel was superb. The company helped me on my review for NCLEX by decreasing the stress of filing for NCLEX. Also, since I am on the iNurse Sponsorship program, the expenses for the NCLEX is not a matter for me. Before the exam, Health Carousel provided me with review materials and let me focus on my review while they process my papers for my NCLEX application. Few weeks before the exam, Health Carousel asked me for my preferred examination dates and occasionally ask me about how was my review. During the exam, I was nervous and confident at the same time because I know I prepared for this. After I sit down in front of the computer, there is a practice question that I think helped me lot because it relieves a bit of my anxiety. While taking the exam, I treated it like I'm just reviewing. After the 75th question, an indicator popped up saying that the exam has ended. As I walked out of the building, anxiety started to increase and the wait for the result has started. The day after the exam, Health Carousel asked me how my exam went and that they are with me in praying for a passed result 3 days after, the result came out and fortunately, I passed the NCLEX!
