What Our Nurses Say About Us

I joined Health Carousel in 2015. The staff is all accommodating and friendly. My International Deployment Advocates have been very helpful all throughout the process. From Karen to Raissa, they update me and guide me in every step and making sure that everything is done correctly. I had a wonderful experience with Health Carousel. I signed up with an agency that proves their commitment to each candidate. Thank you Health Carousel. Keep it up!

It was actually a very wonderful opportunity for me to refresh my nursing knowledge and to get a glimpse of how nurses work in the US. It was exciting, tiring, and honestly somewhat stressful for me given my situation (mother, pregnant, working and taking care of a toddler! But due to its flexibility, I was able to accomplish it. It also showed me my areas of weaknesses in nursing which I need to improve on. I saw and learned how independently nurses really do work in the US based on the scenarios and videos. It showed me how confidently they do all the nursing assessments, nursing care and therapeutic communication with patients. Due to my situation, I actually finished it up to its deadline. I would recommend this for those planning to refresh their knowledge and to be aware of how nurses work in the US. It helped because it showed me what to expect and how to actually function as a nurse in the US. I would say that it helped me boost up my confidence to be able to have a successful transition to US Healthcare Delivery System.

It has always been my dream to work in the US where my knowledge and skills will be more enhanced. This dream became possible with Health Carousel. Throughout the process, they have been well organized, informative and flexible. They helped me cope up with the challenges that I encountered throughout the process. Now, it's not only my dream that came true, but the dream of my family, including my wife and two kids. Thank you so much to Health Carousel and its staff in making our dreams become reality.

My journey in the US was not easy. I had so many challenges before I reached this point. I was abandoned twice by my previous agency. Then, my friend referred me to Health Carousel Philippines. At first, I had a doubt to transfer because of my awful experience with the previous agency. I signed with Health Carousel in August 2017. I complied all their requirements and I was interviewed at the US embassy in January 2018. I am very thankful to Health Carousel for the smooth processing of my papers and to my advisor, Raissa, thank you for always monitoring me all the time. To those nurses who aspire to the US, apply to Health Carousel and you can reach your own dream in the US with confidence.

2020 came and (even if it was the worst year for most of us) everything fell into place for me at least, and of course, I will never cease to mention that it was again made possible because of the guidance of my advisor. What I learned the most throughout my journey is TO NEVER GIVE UP and to always believe in the process. Some may have it easy for their dream to go abroad, which is not the case for me, but despite those difficulties, I am still grateful because this journey made me stronger. I know this is again a new beginning but I am ready to take up the challenge because Health Carousel prepared me enough for it.

I signed the contract with Health Carousel in April 2015. At that time I started complying with the requirements asked by my assigned Processing Associate. By June 2016 I took my IELTS exam and Health Carousel sponsored my VisaScreen application. By January 2017 my VisaScreen was issued. During the waiting period Karen, my initial International Deployment Advocate, consistently briefed and reminded me about the process and what documents I need to secure. Thereafter, finally I was assigned under Carla as my International Deployment Advisor. The waiting period seems long because it entails great patience and good faith. I was hopeful that surely I am waiting for something definite to happen soon about my USA application. So, in October 2018 the waiting was finally over! Though I was living and staying in the UAE and Health Carousel is in the Philippines, I was well-guided and informed on what to do and expect because my IDA Carla and the entire team kept in touch with me through phone calls and emails which I really appreciated and was a big help. During the entire application process one of the bible verses that I was holding on to was Hebrews 10: 36 'Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ' The waiting season was a challenge but with the right mindset and faith it helped me raise myself up to fix my eyes to the promises of God for my life. I took the NCLEX exam and entered PassportUSA's program, confident that what God started in me, He will definitely bring it to completion. Now I am entering a new land again and a new season this time in the USA.

The training is an open door for me to new knowledge. At, first I was hesitant and resistant to learn maybe because it's been 12 years since I had my formal schooling and I am engaged in my career as a professional nurse but I as I am going through my course I realized I really need it badly, I need to update myself. The training is well executed to the needs of the students, the teaching approach is diversified, it's accurate and updated. You have your own coach who is hands-on and will guide you throughout your course. I really loved the simulation with case scenario, it really enhanced my decision-making skills. I finished my course in one month. I am very thankful to Passport USA that they came up with this idea. I am confident that I can adapt smoothly in my career in the US.

I remember signing the contract with Health Carousel Philippines in 2015. The application ran smoothly. I remember being assigned to a different processing associate and so far, up to this day I felt well accommodated. I wouldn't be able to reach the “American dream” without their help. They gave me clear instructions. We communicated through emails, text and calls. I will forever be grateful for all the help, effort, and patience they have shown me. I do hope and pray that Health Carousel will continue to take care of their nurses when they are deployed in different facilities. Thank you and more power to your company.

Back in 2014, fresh from a rejection from an agency and with just NCLEX under my belt, Health Carousel took me under its wings. I feel lucky to have not waited too long for my bigger career plans to materialize. All thanks to Health Carousel, most especially to Liza, Kim, and Lenci, who were always eager to answer my queries and replacing my concerns and doubts with answers and assurance of a successful path to the US. The process is long and with the help of the right people, my waiting time was cut to just a little over three years, and it is all due to that fateful day back in September 2014 that Health Carousel welcomed me and made me realize that amidst the retrogression, my American dream is not that far within my reach. To other aspiring healthcare professionals, remember that in order to open a door of wonderful opportunities, you must at least try to get your foot at the door. I am glad and grateful that I have.

The best part is I get to be with my 2 daughters on our new chapter. Once again, thank you to my Health Carousel family. This is just a start for us but I am confident that our transition will be smooth because of the full support and assistance of Health Carousel. To my fellow nurses, hang on to your dreams, it may be bumpy but definitely worth the wait once you achieved it. Go for your American Dream. Pray and Pray Harder!

I am thankful that Health Carousel has given me this opportunity to achieve and make my American dream into reality. Health Carousel didn't leave me; they supported me from the beginning until the end of the process. I was blessed that Health Carousel is there to guide me towards the right path. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Health Carousel for helping me achieve my lifelong dream, to work and live in the US. To all my fellow nurses, there's no clear and direct A to Z path, American dream is a journey that can weave all over the place, and that's okay! Your path will evolve and change as you step forward. You will grow as you go about achieving your dreams. It's a natural progression. Don't be rigid and allow flexibility in how things unfold within yourself and with the way you go about achieving your outcomes.
