#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.
PassportUSA is honored to have employed Miko, a physical therapist, who has now reached the end of his temp-to-perm assignment.
Miko exceeded his personal and professional goals in the U.S. He married the love of his life in 2019 and was able to bring her over to the U.S. in just a few short months. With the support of PassportUSA, Miko was able to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree here in the states. He is proud to say that all of the amazing events during his assignment so far is attributed to the support of his family, PassportUSA, hard work, and patience!
A Top Performer
Miko received exceptional praise from his patients and coworkers for his professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability. He has also been recognized as the November 2017 PassportUSA Allied Employee of the Month!
In Miko’s final annual performance review, the facility’s Clinical Director stated,
“Miko is a very hard worker and does an amazing job. He is a great asset here. He works well with all of his fellow employees and physicians and referral sources.”
Reflecting on His Journey
“My facility was instrumental in helping me develop my skills as a home health physical therapist. My confidence level boosted while working with them.
I would like to thank all of the Health Carousel/PassportUSA staff here in the United States and in the Philippines. I rate them as a 10/10. I believe they will continue to guide others toward their dreams. With their guidance, I was able to fulfill my dream to work as a physical therapist in the U.S. I have been exposed to different cultures and cases that helped me grow professionally.
In addition, I would like to express my gratitude to all of the PassportUSA International Employee Supervisors that I worked closely with: Kara, Karly, Jamie, and Angela. Thank you for assisting me.”
What’s next for Miko?
Miko happily accepted a full-time employment offer from the facility. We know he will continue to exceed his employer’s and patients’ expectations.
Thank you Miko! We wish you the best of luck.
