The Silver Consolidated School District runs the public schools in the area. Currently, there are 4 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 3 high schools. A state-approved charter school for middle and high school grades is also in the city. The district contains a former National Blue Ribbon School and a former U.S. News and World Report’s Best High School Bronze school.
