Dekalb County Public Schools is one of the largest school districts in Georgia. Lithonia itself includes an elementary school, middle school and high school, however, the district has more than 130 additional campuses, including magnet schools and college preparatory academies. Among the campuses are 3 of the best high schools in the state and nation according to rankings by u.S. News and World report. The district emphasizes technology, rigorous curriculums, and instilling confidence in their young learners. Area shopping is first-class, especially since Lithonia is a suburb of Atlanta. You have access to the Lithonia Stonecrest Mall and multiple little shops in the area.
