We Love Where We Live - Nestor Ryan
August 21, 2020
#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.
PassportUSA is honored to have employed Nestor Ryan, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of his temp-to-perm assignment.Nestor and his wife saved up enough money to purchase their first U.S. home, which is just a short commute away from the hospital they both work at. Nestor's wife is still currently working as a PassportUSA RN.
A Top Performer
While he was on assignment, Nestor's nurse manager continuously praised his work performance. He succeeded due to his positive attitude and his belief that if you are persistent, you can overcome any challenge!
"Nestor is kind and compassionate. He is competent and always willing to help out a fellow team member! He is irreplaceable. Our team could not function without his positive attitude and clinical competency. He is such a delight and we love that he is always willing to learn new concepts. We have no complaints about Nestor!"
In Nestor's final annual performance review, his assigned facility's Clinical Director stated,
"Nestor brings a positive attitude and calmness to a department that is notorious for chaos. He deals with patients who are scared, have anxiety, and are worried but Nestor carries poise and professionalism to the situations. I hope to have him working with us for years to come!"
Reflecting on His Journey
"My assigned hospital is fantastic because they are willing to train you to enhance your abilities and skills from the ground up for your career.
I recommend PassportUSA to anyone who wishes to immigrate to the U.S. because of their expertise and great service.
My family loves where we live and we want to thank PassportUSA/Health Carousel for giving us the opportunity to fulfill our dreams. I'd like to give a shoutout to my PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor, Ashley, for helping us out through everything. We are truly thankful."
What's next for Nestor?
Nestor enthusiastically accepted a direct employment offer from the facility. We know he will continue to exceed his employer's and patients' expectations.
"To all those who are aspiring to be USA nurses, all I can say is that there will always be challenges that come our way, but if you are strong and determined enough to succeed, then everything will be alright." -Nestor
Thank you Nestor! We wish you the best of luck.
