Proud to Have Worked At My Facility - Minnie

August 21, 2020

#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.

PassportUSA is honored to have employed Minnie, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment. While she was on assignment, she acquired new knowledge to enhance her skills and she felt proud to work at her facility. She has since visited other states in the country, broadening her horizons, and was able to buy her family a car for the first time. She loves her new home, where she has access to the excitement of the big city or the serene life in the suburbs.

My family is so very grateful we are able to buy a car. It is our #AmericanDream come true. PassportUSA is one of the best things that happened in my life. They are always there for me. PassportUSA is a good opportunity to grow further as a professional.

A Top Performer

Minnie received much praise in her annual performance appraisals for her terrific dedication to teamwork and service, and she won the PassportUSA Employee of the Month award in March 2017 for her hard work, level of adjustment, and productivity. She was praised by colleagues and supervisors for her communication, her willingness to learn and educate herself, and her attitude both with patients and coworkers. Her supervisor wrote in one review:[caption id="attachment_351596" align="alignright" width="467"]

Minnie is a pleasure to work with. She is very professional and communicates effectively with patients, families, and other staff. She has thorough assessment skills and provides high quality documentation that is easy to follow and understand. She is timely with her visits and documentation and is flexible when changes have to be made to meet the needs of the patients. She is motivated to continue learning and seeks assistance appropriately when questions or concerns arise. She has been a great addition to our work family.

Reflecting on Her Journey

It has been mine and my husband's dream to come to the USA. He was very excited to perform in his field of expertise and was able to obtain his own certification that landed him a good skilled job.
I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt gratitude to PassportUSA, Health Carousel, Jamie, Liza, my assigned facility with my supervisors Rebecca, Janet, Cindy, leadership headed by Kate, Gail, and Mary Ann, my colleagues especially Lucrecia, and lastly, my patients and their families and friends. All of these people have been there for me with their never-ending support and have helped me bloom and reach my full potential in Home Care.
I have been through wonderful encounters and met some of the most beautiful people sharing their life experiences. PassportUSA has paved the way for the achievement of my dreams, with their excellent service bearing their philosophy and vision. I am a better person because of the kind of service they have provided for me. I am so grateful for all of the blessings that poured in my life with this opportunity and I look forward to all of the exciting things that are on the way for me. It has been ingrained in my heart all of the wonderful things that happened throughout my whole journey.
Lastly, with God everything is possible! Thank you PassportUSA for the care, love and exceptional service and support! May you continue to flourish and keep helping those who want to attain a level of fulfillment in their lives! Godspeed!

What's next for Minnie?

Minnie received a direct employment offer from the facility, however she has decided to pursue other family priorities at this time. We know she will continue to exceed her employer's and patients' expectations wherever she is.
