January 30, 2020
#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.
PassportUSA is honored to have employed Mary Rose, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment.Mary Rose has come a long way to achieve her personal and professional goals. She had her third child here and her family is active at their local church. She is proud to stay connected with her community and enjoys creating new memories with her family in the U.S.
"I was blessed even more when my third child came and PassportUSA continued to show support and guidance to my family along the way. We never felt distant with the support from PassportUSA and our new friends here in the U.S."
A Top Performer
While on assignment, Mary Rose and her fellow nurses worked hard to earn her assigned facility Magnet Recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Magnet status is granted to only those hospitals demonstrating nursing excellence and high quality patient care. Additionally, she precepted many new nurses, continued to work on earning extra nursing certifications, cross-trained to become a charge nurse, and expanded her skills to work in the progressive care, med-surg, and telemetry units. Whew! That is quite a list of accomplishments! In her final performance review, the facility's nurse director commented:
"Mary Rose does a great job, we are very glad that she is here. Her clinical skills and abilities have grown over the past year. She is always positive and helpful, and her patients say positive things about her. Her critical thinking and analytic skills have really developed since she arrived."
Reflecting on Her Journey
"From the beginning through the end of my contract, PassportUSA was there to help. I want to thank Health Carousel/PassportUSA for everything! Your guidance and patience paved the way to where I am now.
The best things about the state we live in is that it's safe, nice, and it has friendly people everywhere.
Working at this facility has made me a better nurse. I have learned a lot here. I work with wonderful and amazing people. I highly recommend this facility because they became my work family."
What's next for Mary Rose?
Mary Rose delightedly accepted a full-time employment offer from the facility. We know she will continue to exceed her employer's and patients' expectations.
"Having the opportunity to come here to the USA has made my family's lives better and easier. I believe America is the land of opportunities and a place where dreams come true."[/caption]
Thank you Mary Rose! We wish you the best of luck.
