March 25, 2020

#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.

PassportUSA is honored to have employed Kristina, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment.Since she's been working in the U.S. Kristina and her husband bought a new car! They plan to start a family and purchase their permanent home soon. She and her husband are actively involved with their local church and attend community organizations. With their #AmericanDream in action, they are enjoying all of the wonderful memories they are experiencing so far.

A Top Performer

While she was on assignment, Kristina has completed two specialty certifications: Trauma Nursing and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Kristina currently floats in the ER and OR units and enjoys being cross-trained in both units. The skills that she has developed these past couple of years have set up her up for continued success. In her final performance review, the facility's Vice President of Patient Care Services commented:

"Kristina (Tina) is a very accountable, knowledgeable, and professional member of the healthcare team. She works well with physicians and her peers. She is always willing to help and pays detailed attention to meeting our patients' needs. She continues to learn in the ER, and she is interested in learning and expanding her skills. We appreciate having her here with us."

Reflecting on Her Journey

"I am so grateful that PassportUSA recaptured my priority date when my previous agency abandoned me. Thank you for assisting me throughout my contract. I'd like to commend my PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor, Kelsey. She is a great asset to the organization because she always followed up with me whenever I had questions. She is well-organized and very courteous.
I would like to also thank my acquaintance Tanya for being there when I decided to start this American journey eight years ago.
Also, thank you to the facility for being very accommodating to foreign-trained healthcare professionals. They helped me grow my nursing skills and made me feel like a very competent nurse. The employees are all very friendly. I like how we do our best to help each other."

What's next for Kristina?

Kristina cheerfully accepted a full-time employment offer from the facility. We know she will continue to exceed her employer's and patients' expectations.[caption id="attachment_353720" align="aligncenter" width="575"]
