A Great and Supportive Workplace - Kareen

August 21, 2020

#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.

PassportUSA is honored to have employed Kareen, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment.

Kareen and her family[/caption]Kareen and her husband (who was also a former PassportUSA nurse), celebrated the birth of their second child here in the states. They continue to be active in their children's schools, engaging with teachers and inquiring about available programs for their children's growth. Even though Kareen is busy, she's still able to provide her children with the best hands-on care a mother could give. They are true advocates for the #AmericanDream!

A Top Performer

While she was on assignment, Kareen has been frequently recognized in her assigned unit for exemplary patient care by nurse directors and leaders during their roundings. In Kareen's last annual performance review, her assigned facility's Nurse Director stated,

"Kareen is a wonderful nurse. Her patients have great comments about her daily. She is always open to feedback and wants to do her best. She is a great team player."

Reflecting on Her Journey

"Our facility was a positive workplace. We are grateful that the facility and coworkers were so supportive and accommodating of us.
I want to send a big thank you to my coworkers in my unit and to my PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor, Ashley, for being patient and timely in her responses to us.
I highly recommend PassportUSA for giving us the opportunity to work here in the U.S. We met so many people, learned a lot of skills, and we get to enjoy our days off as a family. We really enjoyed where we were assigned."

What's next for Kareen?

Kareen received a direct employment offer from the facility, however she has chosen to pursue family priorities at this time. We know she will continue to exceed her employer's and patients' expectations wherever she is.[caption id="attachment_352441" align="aligncenter" width="686"]

"If you fail, try again and try harder, but never fail to enjoy life as it is." -Kareen[/caption]

Thank you Kareen! We wish you the best of luck.
