January 10, 2020

#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.

PassportUSA is honored to have employed Florian, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of his temp-to-perm assignment.Florian has exceeded his own personal expectations by finally purchasing his first brand new car. With his car, he plans to travel around the U.S. exploring the country's many exciting destinations.

"I have always desired to own a brand new car with all the modern safety features. I got the opportunity to purchase one recently and I love it. I cannot believe this is my first time owning a brand new car.

My childhood dream is to travel. I want to see all the beautiful places that I've read about in books. I never thought this would come true in my lifetime, but I'm so glad I'm living my dream now!"

A Top Performer

While he was on assignment, Florian received a DAISY nomination and appreciation emails from a nurse manager at his assigned facility. The patients he cared for in the med-surg and ICU units were certainly in very capable hands.Florian has come a long way to hone his nursing skills. In his final performance review, the facility's Director of ICU commented:

"Florian has progressed well with his nursing skills. He is often recognized by his patients for the car he provides. His coworkers report that he is a great team player."

Reflecting on His Journey

"I'd like to thank My PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor, Jamie. She was very consistent in providing support to me all throughout my assignment.
I'm also extending a big thank you to PassportUSA. Their services conform to the U.S. healthcare standards and they are dedicated in supporting foreign-trained nurses as we venture into U.S. nursing. PassportUSA has all of the necessary knowledge and skills to make every transition possible and smooth sailing.
My assigned facility is great. The people are always so friendly. They have an awesome attitude and the environment is easy to adapt to.
I would also like to thank my facility for everything they taught me. My coworkers were all patient and understanding with me when I started my U.S. nursing career. They never ran out of support and they are always pleasant and willing to teach me anytime."

What's next for Florian?

Florian received a full-time employment offer from the facility, however he is pursuing other priorities including some road trips in his new car. We know he will continue to exceed his employer's and patients' expectations wherever he is.[caption id="attachment_353718" align="aligncenter" width="726"]

"What lies ahead is beyond our control. But we will never discover new oceans if we refuse to leave the shore. Just keep your faith alive. Never let fear overpower you." - Florian[/caption]
