Great Achievements - Divina
August 21, 2020
#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.
PassportUSA is honored to have employed Divina, DPT for the last three years and she has now reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment. While working at her assigned PassportUSA client (a therapy management company providing care to residents of a skilled nursing facility in New Mexico) Divina made great strides to elevate her professional skills.During the past three years she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, AND acquired LSVT BIG certification. What is LSVT BIG certification? In short,LSVT BIG trains people with Parkinson disease (PD) to use their body more normally and can only begiven by an LSVT BIG Certified Clinician as part of prescribed physical or occupational therapy.
A Top Performer
On her final annual performance review while still an employee of PassportUSA, Divina received a perfect 5-star review from her onsite manager. "She is an outstanding physical therapist and demonstrates positive leadership and works well with all patients and families and facility staff. Divina completes all documentation timely and accurately, exceeds company standards, and is a pleasure to work with," stated her supervisor.
Reflecting on Her Journey
Every beginning has an end and every end has a new beginning. When I started my journey as a physical therapist in the U.S., the level of anxiety was pretty high. However, PassportUSA has been very helpful in guiding me to adjust and settle from day one up to the end.
A big thank you especially to Jamie, (Divina's assigned PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor) for being awesome in helping me especially during my struggles at work, and for giving me all the advice I needed to survive.During this journey, I learned to discover my weaknesses which turned out to be my strengths. I learned to manage my work hours of almost 76 to 80 hours a week while completing my doctorate degree in physical therapy and being a mom of three beautiful kids. Those great achievements would not have been possible without the help of PassportUSA. It is sad to move on, but I'm leaving with beautiful memories from you and from all the people that I worked with.
I had one assignment during my entire contract with PassportUSA and remaining at this facility post-contract will be my next adventure.
Thanks guys! I will sure miss you all and please continue helping healthcare professionals achieve their #AmericanDream."
