PassportUSA Made My Dream Possible - Antonette #ThankfulThursdays
November 6, 2019
#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.
PassportUSA is honored to have employed Antonette, a registered nurse, who has reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment.Antonette has come a long way since she started her work assignment. She has since purchased a new car and received a job promotion! She also was able to purchase her family's forever home and considers that as one of her greatest achievements. Antonette is actively involved in her local church's bible study and her children are doing well in school. Antonette is truly living her #AmericanDream!
A Top Performer
While she was on assignment, Antonette received a lot of WOW cards from patients, supervisors, and staff. The WOW cards recognize Antonette for going above and beyond her call of duty.In Antonette's annual performance reviews, her assigned facility's Nurse Supervisor stated,
"Antonette has been a great addition to our team. She does great work in communicating plans of care and managing assignments. We are happy to have her!"
Reflecting on Her Journey
"I am very fortunate that my family was included in my visa application. I came here with my husband and two children. Within months of our arrival, there were a lot of opportunities for my family in terms of jobs. We are able to have a comfortable life without going through a lot of hardships. My facility is one of the best hospitals in the area. This location is a very nice place to raise a family. We feel very safe here.
I would like to thank everyone who made this dream possible: PassportUSA, Health Carousel Philippines, and my PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor, Ashley. Everyone has been very supportive."
What's Next for Antonette?
Antonette happily accepted a direct employment offer from her assigned facility. We know she will continue to exceed her family's, employer’s, and patients’ expectations. She plans to become certified in the Cardio-Thoracic and Transplant unit to further her career opportunities.[caption id="attachment_352690" align="aligncenter" width="751"]
