We asked our healthcare professional to share his or her story of perseverance, adjustment and professional growth.Janeth is from the Philippines and is currently working at a client facility in Pennsylvania. She has been working in her field for 8 years and with PassportUSA for over 2 years.Why did you decide to become a registered nurse? "Nursing is one of the most stable and respected jobs. We get to work with interesting people and most importantly, we impact people's lives and save their lives."

Before coming to the US, where did you practice your profession?�"I worked in Saudi Arabia for four years in an outpatient facility. I was assigned in Adult ER, Dermatology, and Orthopedics. I learned to speak Arabic while working there."Why did you want to come to the US? "I decided to work in America because I want to provide a brighter future for my family and be successful in my nursing career."How did you first hear of PassportUSA?�"I first heard of PassportUSA from a family friend. She is also a PassportUSA nurse right now in North Carolina. I went to Health Carousel Philippines in person to begin my application."How is your experience working with your PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor so far? "My IES Ruben is pleasant and supportive. He always reminds me of my upcoming tasks so I can complete them on time. He is always there if I have any questions."Would you recommend PassportUSA to other people and why?�"Yes, I have already recommended PassportUSA to my friends. "We are so happy now because we are finally living together here in the U.S. It was just me living and working in Saudi Arabia before so this is our first time to be together in another country."How does working in the USA differ from your healthcare career abroad?�"Here in the USA, hospitals are more technologically advanced in surgeries and procedures."How have you grown professionally? "I am surrounded with experienced colleagues and I learned a lot from them about chemotherapy and other procedures.
