Testimonios

Embarking on my American nursing journey with Health Carousel was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, I had the privilege of working with the best advisors who guided me every step of the way. I first discovered Health Carousel on Facebook years before I even became a nurse, and when the time came, they were my obvious choice. As I reflect on my journey, I'm reminded of the saying: 'The heights of great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards through the night. Thank you Health Carousel. Expressing my gratitude transcends words. It's a feeling that resides deep within, a warmth that words can't fully capture. Looking forward to continuing this journey

I came across Health Carousel PassportUSA on the social media platform, Facebook to be specific and the post captured my attention because I had been looking for an agency to sign up with at the time and none of them was really giving me what I needed at this point. I proceeded to click on the “apply” link and filled out the application form in a lackluster manner I must confess, but this went on to become one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. My recruiter Shane arranged an interview with me and as nervous as I had been before the interview, turned out to be quite a pleasant experience, more of a very productive chat. Right after the interview, I knew I had found the perfect place and this is where the journey to my American dream set off.

This was back in October of 2020. At this time, I was already processing to go to the UK and almost in the final stages. I proceeded to relocate to the UK which derailed my progress for quite some time but my then IPA never gave up on me. They would call me even when I had not made any progress and urged me to keep going. I must appreciate the IPAs that were assigned to me for their patience and persistence and most importantly encouragement because without all that, I was ready to throw in the towel. I then proceeded to complete my NCLEX thanks to Courtney and subsequently the rest of the process. It has been a long and intense process and journey but I believe it was all worthwhile.

My PassportUSA advisor was quite helpful and knowledgeable and would address my concerns which were quite many. This led to my process being successful. PassportUSA also filed for my family and I will be arriving with them apart from one who will hopefully join us at a later time.

My advice for other hopeful professionals is that “The only impossible dream is a dead dream and as long as there is life, there is hope” so, keep your dream alive and work towards achieving it and with people like Health Carousel, dreams stay alive and get fulfilled. Favourite moment is my arrival to the US and yes, PassportUSA made it happen. I must commend PassportUSA for how meticulously they executed each step of my process, professional all around and quite classy if I may add. They understand their trade and my biggest regret is that I never knew about Health Carousel sooner!

All in all, this was God’s time and God’s time is the best. Looking forward to greater things to come with Health Carousel holding my hand.

It’s a journey that began many years ago and one that has taught me the value of perseverance, faith, and resilience.

I started my nursing career in the Philippines, working at the Philippine Heart Center and later at Prince Sultan Military Medical City. In 2008, I began planning to pursue my nursing career in the United States. I successfully passed the CGFNS and IELTS exams, and my I-140 petition was filed with a priority date of August 3, 2009.

However, my journey was not without its challenges. I took the NCLEX but, unfortunately, did not pass. Then, the retrogression hit, and my former hospital abandoned my petition. At that point, I decided to put my American dream aside. I focused on my career in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I was promoted several times and became actively involved in nursing organizations.

Years passed, and I thought my dream of working in the U.S. had slipped away. But in life, doors often open when you least expect them. I received an invitation to a PassportUSA by Health Carousel International, LLC event, and it reignited my desire to pursue that dream once again.

At that time, Saudization was being implemented in my department, and I realized it was the perfect moment to revisit my dream. In May 2023, I took the NCLEX exam again and this time, I passed. I reached out to Health Carousel, LLC to inquire about my previous petition. I was relieved and overjoyed to learn that age was not an issue, and my previous priority date could be recaptured.

My initial U.S. embassy interview was set for May 24, 2024, but due to work commitments, I requested to move it to a later date. After several rebooking's, I was finally able to leave Riyadh on July 16, 2024. Following my medical exam on July 19, my U.S. embassy interview took place on August 2. By August 24, I received my passport and visa packets, and on September 25, 2024, I took my flight to New Jersey.

My journey was long and full of obstacles, but nothing is impossible with God. He leads us to where we need to be in His perfect time. Age is not a barrier if you have the right knowledge, skills, and attitude. There is always an equal opportunity for everyone, and I am living proof that dreams can become reality, no matter how long it takes.
