More than 5,000 international nurses, who have already passed background checks, English language proficiency tests and provided proof of an offer for employment in the U.S., say their attempts to secure visas to work in the U.S. have stalled at U.S. embassies around the world, according to a new survey from the American Association of International Healthcare Recruitment (AAIHR).Health Carousel is committed to working to address the nursing shortage here in the U.S. by working with AAIHR to bring these highly-skilled nurses into the country to aid our understaffed healthcare system, while supporting source countries with investments in nursing education and other clinical programs.Learn more about the nursing shortage and the impact of foreign-educated nurses here: https://aaihr.org/what-americas-nursing-shortage-means-for-your-family/
