Health Carousel CNO Chosen for Joint Commission Staffing Council

Breaking News: Earl Dalton, Chief Nursing Officer, has been appointed to The Joint Commission's Healthcare Staffing Advisory Council.
This Advisory Council was created to assist in driving The Joint Commission mission of evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value through The Joint Commission's health care staffing program.Dalton brings over 20 years of acute hospital experience and 4 years in the healthcare staffing industry with Health Carousel.
In the face of the pandemic there is no greater time for the Joint Commission to turn to industry experts to collaborate on the correct approach to ensure our communities have the staff they need to execute on a care delivery model,� Dalton said. �My focus as Health Carousel's CNO is enabling the healthcare facilities we serve to adequately staff to their fullest potential. Equally important is the development of the staff we provide to our partner facilities. My focus and vision for healthcare aligns well to that of the Joint Commission and I am excited about what our advisory council can accomplish.�
The council provides valuable input on health care staffing accreditation products, services, and activities of the Joint Commission Enterprise to promote patient safety and quality within the staffing component of all health care organizations.
