One of the unique things about the United States is that there are different climates found all throughout the country. Once you know which state you will be living in, consider researching that area to know what the weather is like, and if the weather changes throughout the year (some regions have all 4 seasons – winter, spring, summer, and fall)!

There is a chance that the USA may be colder than the country you are coming from, so make sure that you dress warmly and comfortably for the airplane ride.

As you continue to get closer to deploying to the U.S., remember that even though you may want to live and work in a certain region of the USA or a specific state, it is not guaranteed that will happen. However, we have wonderful healthcare facilities located all over the USA, and our commitment to you is to secure you an assignment that we feel is a good mutual fit for you and our client locations.

You will need to keep an open mind as you approach the interviewing process.

Remember that no matter where you end up, you should embrace every day while you continue to do what you love – care for patients and make a difference in their lives and the lives of their families. You have worked hard to get to where you are today, and this will be the beginning of a great adventure in the United States.
