"I heard about Health Carousel and the PassportUSA program through my sister-in-law, who told me to apply to their program. I looked up the agency and I was amazed about how they turn nurses' American dreams into reality. Through their continuous effort and persistence, Health Carousel, without any doubts, helped me all throughout my journey since that very first day I received a phone call from them."What do you like most about working with our client? "It is such a great honor to be part of this work family. This organization has a collaborative environment. The managers listen to our ideas and the whole team works together to help, support, offer creative feedback, and most of all, we are greatly appreciated and respected."What do you like to do outside of work? "I'm very passionate about sports, nature, and outdoor activities. During my days off, my kids account for a lot of my time. I take them to the beach or the park every weekend, we go to the gym three times a week to keep us fit, and sometimes we visit a nearby botanical garden and collect plants. In fact, I have plenty of indoor plants at home and I love taking care of them. For me, it's a good way to refresh and reset myself before returning to another workweek."What do you love most about being an RN? "I didn't really know what nursing was until I became a mother and a wife, to realize that nursing means taking care of not only those who are ill, but also their loved ones. Nor did I know what an amazing career nursing would turn out to be. Though it takes so much hard work and sacrifice, there is nothing more rewarding than helping patients at their lowest times. Through the power of touch, a kind word, or even the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Now, I'm proud to serve in one of the most trusted professions in the world."What is your favorite American food? "Pizza and fries are the best!"Tell us something unique about you! "I am a very flexible person. I'm a sports-minded person, I played volleyball since grade school and was a varsity player until I finished my high school years. I've been to 13 states since 2018 and have visited various countries as well. I speak several languages such as Mandarin, Visayan (mixed with Spanish), and Tagalog. I have a dog named Lia - she is a Japanese spitz, and is a gift from my late mother."What's your favorite quote? "I CAN" is 100 times important than I.Q." - Albert Einstein, theoretical physicist

Since signing up with Health Carousel, everything was smooth sailing."What do you like most about working with our client? "They have strong ethical practices. I’ve heard feedback from colleagues regarding their employer’s questionable practices. However, I have found that my client facility prioritizes strong ethical practices above financial gain."What do you like to do outside of work? "I like to be outside on foot or wheels, like on my dirt bike out in the desert. I’ve always been an active and outdoors type of person. Being transferred here in Arizona has allowed me to enjoy what I love to do."What do you love most about being a PT? "The thing that I love the most about being a physical therapist is seeing my patients literally get back on their feet. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping them get their life back."What is your favorite American food? "I absolutely love barbeque rib tips."Tell us something unique about you! "I also like to film, fly drones and take photos because I enjoy capturing my adventures. I’m no professional by any means but traveling and filming/photography are two of my most favorite things to do."What's your favorite quote?
