What drew you to Health Carousel? “I chose Health Carousel because they are the pathway to my American dream. They gave me the opportunity to work, live, and serve in this beautiful and great country.”

What do you like most about working with our client? “I love my facility! This is where I all started being a transplant in this country! I love the diversity here. The doctors are so approachable and are team players and very professional. My team is the most energetic and I work with very supportive staff members, managers, and educators. They are all blessings to me!”

What do you like to do outside of work? “I love traveling, hanging out with friends, cooking, going to concerts, and working out. I am an ambivert person. Sometimes I enjoy my solitude and being alone and I accomplish a lot being on my own, and I like to go out too.”

What do you love most about being a RN? “It’s all about helping people. I want to live by what Christ said, ‘If you love the sick, the poor, the needy, you love me.’ I feel rewarded doing this after all these years in the service, especially spiritually. I am so grateful to God!”

What is your favorite American food? “I like In-N-Out burgers, and California burritos and tacos.”

Tell us something unique about you! “I love singing karaoke. I love music, especially the classics. People say I am an old soul. I’ve been to Washington D.C, Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Delaware, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Arizona. I speak and understand English, Tagalog, Ilocano, and a little bit of Spanish and Russian. Life is too short so I always live each day as if it’s my last day of life.”

What’s your favorite quote? “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did for them, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou
