Even when Jen was busy with too many patients to count, she always made time for me, even if it was something a CNA could have tended to. Even at my highest pain levels, just seeing her pearly white teeth and ear-to-ear smile was as effective as the strongest pain medicine! I had a very bad night last night partly due to lack of care by the night nurse. But as soon as Jen walked in this morning it all just went away. He nominated her because she was so patient and always helped him when needed right away. My dad suffered greatly in the past few years and has never paid a harsh word to anyone. Today he lost his temper, not toward anyone, but just became short-tempered. Jen took care of what he needed and she never missed a step. She was very kind to him and they were too cute and so understanding of each other. I will give her a 10/10.""I was admitted to the 5th floor for surgery the same day. The floor was crazy busy but Jen made sure to check on me to make me feel comfortable and welcomed. Surgery was performed and when I returned to my room, Jen checked on me again with a smile and welcomed me back. The next day I was transferred to the 4th floor orthopedics. A day later, I woke up to find that Jen had been transferred to that floor for the day. Our fun thing was each time I would need an injection, she would apologize beforehand even though I never felt the needles. I was discharged later that night and even though it was past her quitting time, she stayed and went through my entire discharge with me.
