Calling all international healthcare professionals with a dream of living and working in the US: your opportunity is near.

After periods of retrogression late in 2014 and early 2015, EB-3 priority dates have steadily moved forward. During this entire time PassportUSA has remained steadfast in our commitment to foreign candidates and has continued bringing healthcare professionals just like you from other nations to the USA.

America still has a shortage of healthcare professionals, mainly nurses, therapists, doctors and allied healthcare professionals. And according to the American Nursing Association (ANA), America’s shortage of nurses won’t end anytime soon. The following comes from the ANA’s website on why America continues to face a shortage of nurses:

  • Over the past decade, the average age of employed RNs has increased by nearly two years, from 42.7 years in 2000 to 44.6 years in 2010.
  • America is seeing vast increases in the number of people over 65. This age group has many medical and health needs, and will put a strain on our health system.
  • Recent reforms in healthcare will give millions of people access to the healthcare system. More nurses and health professionals are needed in response.

Those same factors are the reason the US will need more doctors, medical technicians, occupational and physical therapists, too.
